Barnesville High School’s football field underwent a complete transformation from natural grass to high-performance synthetic turf. The McKinley Sports team provided design, permitting, and construction administration services for the project, which aimed to improve safety, drainage, and the overall usability of the field.
The site presented unique grading challenges due to limited boundary space near the end zones and sloped terrain along the northwest corner. The project included detailed surveying and stormwater management design in full compliance with NPDES permitting requirements. Pedestrian walkways were integrated into the design to maintain access to the existing grandstands and concession areas.
McKinley Sports also supported the construction phase through regular site visits, coordination meetings, and permitting assistance—ensuring smooth execution and successful project delivery.
