The Linsly School, founded in 1814 and formerly known as the Linsly Military Institute, is a boarding and day school for students in grades 5-12. With a 100% college placement, Linsly’s record as an excellent College Preparatory academy speaks for itself.
The school planned various campus improvements for their 200th Anniversary Campaign. This Campaign started with a master plan, involves multiple buildings, and will involve 3 Phases of construction.
The first phase was the Stifel Field House and Behrens Memorial Gymnasium renovations. This includes improvements to the building aesthetics, HVAC, entry way, structural steel, outside drainage, lights, bleachers, floor, Kalwall, window replacement, locker rooms, restrooms, ADA upgrades, and exterior.
There are multiple “energy efficient” designs, such as natural daylighting with the Kalwall system.
Moreover, the new “Hall of Fame” addition recognizes outstanding athletes from Linsly’s history.
The project encompassed 14,382 SF of renovations.
