McKinley Sports Team provided design and construction documentation for a full athletic facility upgrade at Wheeling Jesuit University, including a new synthetic turf field and resurfacing of the 400-meter NCAA competition track. The project also incorporated a new entry plaza, stormwater management systems, and surrounding landscape improvements.
Services included field layout, grading, drainage design, and turf system detailing, along with track design and plaza planning. Construction documents covered demolition, site utilities, turf and track sub-base systems, and final surfacing plans.
The project was planned to meet NCAA standards and support a variety of athletic programs, with a focus on long-term durability, safety, and performance. A full permitting and bidding package was developed, along with renderings and cost estimates to guide budgeting and scheduling.
