McKinley Sports Team (formerly JTSA Sports) partnered with the Wellsville School District to design and deliver a comprehensive athletic facility upgrade. The project involved replacing the existing natural grass field and aggregate track with a new synthetic turf football/soccer field and a rubberized six-lane track—carefully designed to fit within the constrained stadium footprint.
The design incorporated a stormwater management system to address runoff from the adjacent roadway and included improvements to the nearby practice field using reclaimed soil from the main field excavation. Due to site limitations, the team engineered a layout that maximized track width and athletic functionality without relocating existing grandstands or encroaching on property line buffers.
McKinley Sports led the project from initial site evaluation and infiltration testing through design development, permitting, bidding assistance, and construction observation. The team worked closely with the school district and local officials to ensure compliance with all municipal and environmental standards. Construction observation services included regular site visits and biweekly progress meetings to monitor quality, schedule, and overall project execution.
