The McKinley Sports Team (formerly JTSA Sports) was selected by the Bill Campbell Foundation in partnership with Munhall Borough to lead the design and engineering of a full-site redevelopment at the West Field Athletic Complex. The project involved converting the existing football field into a high-performance synthetic turf surface with upgraded bleachers and improved accessibility, creating a durable and versatile playing environment. New baseball and softball fields were introduced to expand the site’s programming potential, while amenities such as restrooms, a concession building, and a press box with grandstands were added to enhance the experience for both athletes and spectators. The master plan also included grading and infrastructure improvements to support future additions like expanded parking and locker room facilities. Completed in 2016, West Field continues to serve as one of Munhall Borough’s premier athletic venues and a vital community sports hub—hosting both Chatham University and Steele Valley High School athletic programs.
