Project Overview

McKinley Sports was contracted by Marshall County Schools to develop a master plan for a new stadium. The goal was to look at 3 locations within the school district for a new stadium for John Marshall. Upon completion of the master plan the school district selected the site of the original stadium.

The original John Marshall Stadium was torn down in full and a new stadium  was built in its replacement. The new Monarch Stadium provides a custom grandstand with 3500 person home site seating and a plaza area for gathering beneath the seating. The stadium features a custom two story press box with a multi-media class room and VIP room on second floor and coaching rooms with media center on the first story. The track was custom gold to match school colors with a visitor grandstand design to house 1000 person seating and become the home grandstand for track and field events with a lower profile for excellent view of the spring events. The field was a state of the art blended system on a dynamic drainage base which provides an all year surface. At the ends of the stadium are new restrooms, concessions, ticket booths and players locker rooms. Guests pass through two new entrance gateways as then enter into the brand new Monarch Stadium.
